Policy Officer, Australian Department of Defence
Rachel joined the Australian Department of Defence in 2022 with a background in international relations and political science. Rachel is responsible for supporting the development of policy relating to Australia’s national security. Prior to joining Defence, Rachel has spent time living in the United States and Spain.
Rachel holds a Master’s degree in international relations from the University of Melbourne, which included studying international relations at the Graduate School for International and Development Studies in Geneva. Rachel also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia. Rachel is originally from Perth, Western Australia but has lived in Melbourne for many years.
