Siemtje Möller was born on July 20, 1983. She currently serves as the Personal Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Defense. Möller is a member of Bundestag and the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).
Möller’s political career includes positions such as Defense Policy Spokesperson of the SPD Parliamentary Group in the Bundestag from 2021 and Spokesperson of the “Seeheimer Kreis” within the SPD from 2020 to 2022. She became a Member of Bundestag in 2017 and has been an active member of the SPD since 2010.
In her professional career, Möller has worked as a Secondary School Teacher of French, Spanish, and Politics at Neues Gymnasium Wilhelmshaven since 2016. She also taught French and Social Studies at Oberstufenzentrum KFZ Charlottenburg in Berlin from 2014 to 2016. Möller’s academic background includes working as a tutor in the Seminar for Political Science at the Chair for the History of Political Theory at Georg-August University of Göttingen from 2008 to 2011. She has gained valuable experience through internships at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, BBJ Consult in Brussels, and the World Bank Group in Washington D.C.
Siemtje Möller is married and has two children.
